On page 140, paragraph one of the most recent edition of POLYGRAPH there is a reference to "...anecdotes that illustrate psychophysiological responding." Can anyone define what that might be? This is not a "tongue in cheek" type question, I really want to know! Thanks in advance.

It would be best to email Mark Handler your question to discern the true intent of this language.

My "stab" at it would be that one could give an example of a situation in which said response/reflex would be invoked and memorable to the subject (e.g. coming across a snake on a trail).
